During testing of the import capability users identified that the currency window did not work properly, it would not scroll correctly. It appears the "fix" was to limit the currencies shown, not overly impressive if you do not use one of those currencies! I'm also an Australian.

The solution it to pre-create the account. Within Moneydance use the menu option Account --> Create Account and go through the dialogues to create the account correctly. You then use this account when you go through the import process.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481139352020-02-25T02:49:45Z2020-02-25T02:49:47ZImporting Account Data with different Currency

Thanks. Yes I did create the account first, but it did not appear in my list as an option when I imported (only my Australian accounts were listed.)

rluisetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481139352020-02-25T02:54:13Z2020-02-25T02:54:13ZImporting Account Data with different Currency

I've create a new test file with AUD as the base, create an account in NZD. During import it showed as one of the account and I was able to import into it. The only way I could make it not appear was if the account was set to inactive. Hence I would be inclined to check the account settings.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481139352020-02-25T03:08:02Z2020-02-25T03:08:04ZImporting Account Data with different Currency

I installed the Quotes and Exchange Rates extension, and I now get the NZ dollar on the currency list for "Imported Bank Account". The file I created is still not on the list if I try adding the data from my created account, but at least I can upload the data.
Yes that could be the problem with my account.

rluisetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481139352020-02-25T03:23:04Z2020-02-25T03:23:04ZImporting Account Data with different Currency

That is an interesting finding in relation to the currency list, I have not heard of that before.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481139352020-02-25T03:27:24Z2020-02-25T03:27:24ZImporting Account Data with different Currency

It looks likes Moneydance will pick the 6 "base" currencies - for want of a better word, and ones that are set to display on the summary page.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/481139352020-02-25T04:28:46Z2020-02-25T04:28:47ZImporting Account Data with different Currency

Thanks, for some reason the inactive tick was a default or I accidentally
set it somehow
