Finding moneydance file
I have Moneydance installed on pc. I just recently sent my pc to the shop to get repaired. They put an additional hard drive in it. I found the Moneydance file on the old hard drive. The problem is that I cannot open the file to retrieve my original download with all of the accounts and information I already had on it. When I try to open the file, it gives me the options of:
1. Create a new account set
2. Import new account set
What am I supposed to do? I don't want to start all over!

I'm a fellow user.
It sounds like you are on the Welcome to Moneydance screen. If so there should be an "Open Other" notation at the bottom towards the right hand side. Clicking on this should open an Explorer window that should allow you to navigate to where the Moneydance data set is and open it from there.
If you want to move the Data set to the default location, look at the following two articles that document the default location and the moving of Moneydance files.

If the above information doesn't help, please also let us know the full name of the data file that you found. It should be something that ends with the .moneydance file extension. If you are working with something else, it may not be your data file. It would also be good to know which version of Moneydance you were using.
