clean install
I am thinking of switching to Moneydance. The problem I have is I downloaded moneydance, installed it, and setup "test" fake accounts. I uninstalled Moneydance to eliminate all the fake information I created. Now when I install Moneydance much of my fake information seems to still be there. I don't want any of that information in my setup if I switchover. How do I completely clean install moneydance? For clarity I am using Windows 10 Pro.

Hello,
Uninstalling the program wouldn't delete your data files. You can go to File -> New from the menu bar to create a new data file. To remove old data files, see the instructions at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/de...

I'm a fellow user.
With Moneydance the software and the data are completely separate, compare it to say a word processor, would you want to delete the software and have it delete every document you have?
To delete information relation to your previous setup you would look to remove the data sets that were created. The following articles should help you do this:
https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/default-file-location
https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/deleting-files
you might also look to delete any preferences you have set, you do this be removing the file config.dict that should be in the .moneydance folder in your login directory.
