Mortgage payment reminder and memo field in build 825
Two problems:
1. Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but this mortgage reminder/payment calculation thing is still broken for me. Removed my existing reminder and setup a new one in the loan account. The calculation posted to the checking account is wrong and the transaction now has 3 splits instead of 2: payment to asset, payment to interest, and $0 payment to atm withdrawal. This has been a working/broken feature for years now.
2. I just noticed that lots of memo fields were wiped out in the upgrade to MD 2012. The most of the memos that I had entered were replaced by the same text string as the description field. Please let me know if there is a way to recover this.

Unfortunately we won't have a fix for the loan reminder bug until 2013, sorry for the inconvenience that is causing.
Regarding Memos, are you referring to their behavior on 'the other side' of transactions (like in the categories)? We are trying to have that issue fixed by the time the beta goes to the main release but unfortunately there is not a way to undo what has been done. But let me know if I am mistaken and that this is an issue occurring in addition to the one we know about.

Yes, I am talking about the memos on 'the other side' of transactions. Data integrity should be a big deal and something that should be checked carefully before migrating an old data format to a new one. Disappointed to say the least. Guess I could always roll back the clock a couple of months and start reusing my old data file. That sounds like fun.
Not sure why the big push to change the data format to allow for image attachments. Is there a big need for this? I would much rather see the long standing problems (loan reminder bug, handling stock share movements between accounts) addressed.
