Q. After the transactions 'appear' to have imported, is there a blue dot next to the account balance in the left side bar? (see screenshot)

No blue dot suggests the import did not think there are any transactions in the file that it does not already have.

I think it would be an idea to have a look at the file's contents to see what is actually there. The first question is what is the format OFX, QFX, QIF something else?

All the importable formats are just structured text files so you should be able to open them in a text editor or word processor. What does the contents of the file look like?

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/483802792020-06-03T23:13:39Z2020-06-03T23:13:39ZImporting Transactions

Hi Debra,

I see that forum member dwg has replied while I was composing my post...

As you may be aware the blue dot is an indicator that there are unconfirmed [imported] transactions in the register. I think that we can safely assume that if there is no blue dot, then the import has failed.

Q. What is the file format that you are downloading from your bank? (e.g. QIF, QFX, OFX, CSV)

If you want to attach a copy of the file to this thread I will try importing it to see if I can do so or if not I can try to decipher what may at play.

Please keep in mind that these are public forums. Make sure that there is no sensitive information in the file before attaching it. (e.g. account numbers)
