upgrade issue
Just upgraded to 2019 version and lost my launcher icon in Ubuntu 20.04. Apt list shows that it is still there and I have other evidence that the program is in there. Tried launching from terminal and "moneydance and .moneydance " would not work. I really would like to keep working with moneydance but am out of ideas.

Hi Tyler
I am not a Linux expert but can confirm Moneydance 2020(1915) is running under both Ubuntu 20.04 and my preference Mint 19.3.
I installed the moneydance_linux_amd64.deb
You may know all this but.
I had first to install “GDebi Package Installer” in terminal
sudo apt install gdebi
Or alternately once “GDebi Package Installer” is installed simply double click on moneydance_linux_amd64.deb to open the Package Installer.
Hope this helps.

Somehow, after I drilled down to the file in usr/local/bin, I found the icon and clicked on it and the app came to life. I pinned the icon to the launcher, and now it works. No clear idea how. But I must say that it really looks better than the older version.
Back in business, trying to wean myself off Quicken.
