I'm using Moneydance 2010r2(735) on a WinXP Pro 32-bit system running Java Version 6 U17 and have a problem with my home page calendar. For January 2010 the days that have scheduled transactions (reminders) are highlighted in the appropriate color but contain no text. The reminders are present in the upcoming items list. This condition only occurs for three of the twelve months (Jan, May and Oct)...all the other months display correctly.

Also, in the Budget Bars Home Page display how do you put the items in alphabetical or other desired order? Right-clicking a bar allows only remove as a choice ( the up/down arrows are grayed-out). In the Budget Bars Settings dialog box, Select shows the included items in alphabetical order but when selecting OK, the home page does not change the order.

Good suggestion for Budget Bars, its a new feature so give them time. But I too would like to be able to change their order.

    Hi Tim

I am sorry we have not responded sooner. Could you attach a cut down version of your .md file showing the problem with the reminders. We have not been able to reproduce it.

With regard to the budget bars bug I have created a bug ticket for it and reported it to the developers.

    Sincerely

    Ben Spencer

    Hi Ben,

The problem seems to have corrected itself. I first noticed it in January's reminders where the items were in the list but didn't show up on the calendar. If I paged forward into Feb & March, the reminders were on the calendar, but May did not show any. Now when I page back to January, the reminders are on the calendar!!
I don't know what happened but it seems to work fine now.
I'm still pleased I switched from Quicken and find Moneydance to be an exceptional program that I've recommended to several friends.

I'm just chiming in to say that I too would like to see functionality added for changing the order of the budget bars on the home page.

I'll add this feature to our list of items for possible consideration in future builds. Our wiki is integrated with our feature request and bug reporting system. Please feel free to use these systems to help improve Moneydance by bringing bugs to our attention and requesting new features. We now also have voting on all existing tickets, which helps us determine which requests have the most demand.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

    Angie Rauscher
