    Hi nanakoch450

When you say exported it sounds like you are preforming the move using by exporting and then importing a QIF file. If so not a good idea.

    Instead follow this support https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/mo...

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
i think after reading this article… i should delete the application and file off the new computer and start over moving the files.

    How should I do that?

    thanks in advance

    Hi nanakoch450

On your new computer click HELP -SHOW DOCUMENT FOLDER. which will open a file finder. Close Moneydance and delete you data set folder with the naming format youtdatasetname.moneydance

When you open Moneydance again you will be back in the welcome window.

    No need to uninstall/reinstall Moneydance.

    Hope this helps.
