version 1928 on macOS (but the bug persists since 2 years): i try to import a simple (35 lines, semicolon delimited) CSV file.. and i get:

There was an error importing the file 'movimenti_IT07S0501802800000019017078.csv': java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "618230920200939547191"

and this string "618230920200939547191" isn't in the file!

i already submitted the bug last year, with CSV samples.. but nothing. i can import CSV files just by the CSV Importer extension

i think it's a Java problem..

    Hi stefano.cecere,

As you've discovered the CSV Importer extension is more robust than the default importer in Moneydance.

If you could post a sample csv file, I'll try importing it or try to find out why it won't import.

Keep in mind that these are public forums. Make sure that there is no sensitive information in the csv file before attaching it.
