2010 and downloading transactions

I am probably adding to the chorus here but here is one more shout down of the way 2010 handles downloaded transactions.

  1. If I make changes to download transactions such as category or name and click on accept - the changes are always lost.
  2. I routinely edit the the name to remove transaction number or location number that comes with downloaded transactions. In 2010, this is almost impossible. The auto complete feature is practically useless because it always only shows the transaction just downloaded even though I usually type in the first few letters of the merchant and MD used to pick up the category I used and the name correctly. Now, I have to type out everything manually and if I succeed with that item # 1 bites me.

    Pat,

Thank you for this information, we are still working on the transaction downloading capabilities of Moneydance 2010. We are tracking this issue using our feature request and bug reporting system. We now also have voting on all existing tickets, which helps us determine which requests have the most demand, so please feel free to use this system as well.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

Have you tried hitting the enter/return key after doing your edits and then clicking 'accept'? This procedure seems to work for me and the edits are saved.
