You will need to tell us things like when you click on a report in the side bar what actually happens.

When you click on the edit button in a report what happens.

Also what Operating system are you using.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487611972020-10-23T08:21:46Z2020-10-23T08:21:46Zincome & expense reports

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Jill

In addition to dwg's comments.

I am running Moneydance 2021(2007) on windows 10 and the Income and Expenses works OK.

What build are you running?
What is your computer operating system.

For support or others to be able to help perhaps post your errlog.txt file

Start Moneydance.
Try to run the report Income and Expenses.
If it fails close Moneydance and post the report.

If you're using Mac OS, it should be located at one of these locations within your Home folder:
~/Library/Containers/com.infinitekind.MoneydanceOSX/Data/Library/Application Support/Moneydance/errlog.txt or:
~/Library/Application Support/Moneydance/errlog.txt If you have any trouble finding your Home Library folder you can open Finder and hold down the option key while selecting the Go menu and the Library folder option should occur or you can open Finder and select Go -> Go to Folder and copy and paste in the following:
~/Library This should pull up your local Library folder.
If you're using Windows, it should be located under your login directory at:
C:\Users(yourusername).moneydance\errlog.txt
or
C:\Documents and Settings(yourusername).moneydance\errlog.txt
Depending on your version of Windows
If you're using Linux it should be located in your home folder at:
~/.moneydance/errlog.txt

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487611972020-10-23T10:01:33Z2020-10-23T10:01:34Zincome & expense reports

Hi,
Thank you

Jill Matthewstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/487611972020-10-23T10:09:14Z2020-10-23T10:09:14Zincome & expense reports

I'm a fellow user.

Based on what you say I suspect the Parameter window may be getting rendered off the visible screen.

There are three possible ways of bringing it back onscreen if this is the case.

The first two approaches uses standard Windows methods to move a window onscreen.

The traditional approach to moving a window is as follows. Use the Key combination Alt-spacebar followed by the M key to get access to the resize and move options and to invoke the Move function then use the arrow keys to move the window back onto the visible screen.

Alternatively, if you're using Windows 7 or later, you can try holding down the Windows and Shift keys, then tap the left-arrow or right-arrow key, which should move the missing window onto your current monitor.

If all else fails you can try the third approach.

Rename the config.dict file that exists in the .Moneydance folder under your login directory. doing this removes all preferences including the remembered positions, it will be as if Moneydance has just been installed, so you need to open your Data Set as well as re-enter your license key.
