Import error

I upgraded to the newest version (2021) and am now unable to import a QIF file. I get the following error:

Error reading file: java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "" because the return value of "" is null

The QIF file is from Quicken 2016 and has worked on previous versions of Moneydance. I uninstalled Moneydance and reinstalled it but no change. I recreated the QIF file several times but no change. Is this a problem with the new version of Moneydance or with the QIF file?
I have also attached the Moneydance error log file.

    Hi Paul

There was a bug in Moneydance 2021 which was fixed in preview build 2021(2008) download and install to see if it fixes the problem from

    Hope this helps.

Thank you. Derek is correct, the beta/preview version resolves the import error. Assuming the beta version is otherwise stable, this matter is resolved.

    Hi Paul

Glad I was able to help.

I think you will find preview builds are stable.
