ERROR SAVING FILE
Help! Moneydance has suddenly become unusable. Every few seconds the following error message pops up: "Error saving file: java.io.FileNotFoundException: [then follows a path through my directories to] .moneydance\root.mdinternal (Access is denied)." I tried uploading your latest beta. This simply caused my file to revert to a previous version without curing the fault. I don't like your new autosave configuration - I feel it has caused me to lose control of my moneydance files.

You appear not to have write permission to the folder.
What Operating System are you using?
Which Release of Moneydance are you using?
With Moneydance open, click on Help - Console Window. Click on "Copy to Clipboard" and paste the results in your next post.

Dear James,
I think I have solved the problem by removing the moneydance root file which seems to have been corrupted and allowing Moneydance to recreate the file from checkpoint.
For completeness I am using Windows 7 64 bit and v 849 of Moneydance.
Best wishes
Adrian
