In the register, right-click a line, choose sort and select by date. Also at the top of the register are filter buttons, do you have ALL selected?

regarding the account with a funny name, these are usually orphaned txns. Go into the account and see what's in there. You may have some txns that. need to be reattached to the right account, category, reminder... Have a look and tell us what you see?

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488484912020-11-23T15:12:34Z2020-11-23T15:12:35ZUpgrade of Monedance File from 2017 to 2021 doesn't work

I Solved it.

I don't now why, but this solved the problem:
* I started moneydance with a new datafile. * Then I changed the settings to my preference (locale = german, Decimal = , and Dateformat = dd.mm.yyyy). When changing this items, I always stopped and started Moneydance in between. * After doing above, I have imported my Backup File from Monedance 2017. * Now it works fine (without missing transactions or restored accounts).

I am happy to solved this with some time and playaround and I am really happy that Moneydance is still available and actively mentained!
I used it since 2007 and will use it forward ... with buying the upgrade license.
I really appreciate your work Monedance team!

Franz
