A month ago I upgraded to MD 2010 on my Macbook. Today I launched MD and it informed me of an update, so I installed the update. now, MD will not start. If I right-click the icon in the dock, it says "Application Not Responding" and I need to force it to quit.

    Kevin,

What version of Java do you have installed? What version of MD do you have installed? What is in your errlog file? You can find it by pressing command-shift-G to bring up the Go To Folder dialogue box. Enter "~/.moneydance" without the quotes. You will then see the errlog file.

I was able to get past the problem; I went to my data file and right-clicked, and opened it with Moneydance. That worked. After doing that, I was able to launch MD from the dock with no problem.

Maybe this was a side effect of something else: I upgraded to Snow Leopard yesterday, and this is the first time I've launched MD since then.
