I am enquiring as to whether you have been able to look into this yet. It is the first new transaction reminder I have tried to create since upgrading.

(Note, I'm not from support, just a fellow user)..

    Common issues are as follows:
1/ the right account has not been selected. is 1c Lloyds the account you want/are looking at?
2/ You have Syncing running and you are on the remote computer and have not set the option in Preferences to auto commit

Take a look at the setting under FILE - PREFERENCES - NETWORK and check the tick box "Auto-commit Reminders (applies to current file on this computer). Set as required on primary and secondary synced computers.

Thanks for that. I have checked the auto commit in NETWORK and now it all
works. I guess this has happened now, as it is the first new transaction
reminder I have set since syncing to my phone. (which is also displaying
the forward transaction). Prior to that, I have only used Md on my iMac.
If I set it up on my Macbook, I will do the same there, but I may not
bother as I currently have no need, unless circumstances change.

    Thanks for your help.

    Just a user.....

My most common mistake (causing scratching of head) is that when setting
up the reminder, look at the line above to see what account the reminder
transaction will affect. Many times, it is the account itselft (lke xyz
    bank, rather than a sub-account Bankxyz->Checking.
The next common error is to set the start date too late (past the
current date but after the date when you want the transaction to take
effect. That will catch it at the next scheduled date. What you don't
want to do is set the date too early, becuase that just set it off
before you really wanted it to go. There is no effect except when you
restart: that seems to kick it off. Make sure the end date is waht you want.

Otherwise, I have had no problems with the reminders kicking off at the
right time (and I have more than 30 now....

I'm not sure how much this is worth, but the snap shot of the setup reminder says the start date is month 22 which is invalid and certainly should cause a problem with it working.

I think you will find that it means post it on the 22nd day of the month.

actually it's suppose to represent the first date you will being the reminder on. I have attached mine to show you. If entered correctly it display in a calendar. So month 22 would not be valid.

I'm assuming she meant a start date of 01/22/2021 not 22/01/2021

A start date of 22/01/2021 implies to me a Date format of DMY is set in Moneydance.

This is true, but may be incompatible when using the reminder as it might not sync with the calendar given her problem is the reminder is not working. I would change the format setting or enter the correct format then and reset the reminder and see if that fixes the problem. It's worth a try because most times is something simple like that.

Well, I was wrong. I changed the format, set up a test reminder with the DD/MM/YYYY and it worked fine. What I do find difficult is scheduling multiple reminders on the same day. I finally got it to accept it but not sure how as I just kept trying over and over again. I just did a second reminder with this date format to test it out and it didn't auto commit, I had to manually tell it to enter the transaction. So Reminders is a bit tricky.
