Split Functionality
Hello.
I have been using Moneydance now for about a month. I really like it. Today, however, when I choose to split a transaction, the program freezes and I can only quit the program through the task manager.
I am not quite sure what I ndeed to do to fix this.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Have you recently upgraded to Big Sur or MD 2021?
Is your split window rendering off screen?
What version of MD and Operating system?

no. i am a windows user. and after reading through the older posts, i was able to use the alt+spacebar then M solution. Somehow the split window was offscreen.
