Sometimes exits without asking if save wanted
I have not completely characterized this, but when I switch between MD files, sometimes I am not prompted to save. I know its happened when I've had more than one window open, but there could be other causes too.

Hi James
Moneydance will only prompt you to save the data file if you have made changes since you opened the program. Do you have the preference to save on every quit set? It is under File->Preferences on the general tab. Setting this option will save the data file without prompting.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer

Hi Ben
I have that preference set. But it still does nto always ask. When I reopen the file I get a prompt that the autosave file is newer than the data file.
thanks again for the fast response.
James

I am not able to reproduce the problem you are describing. If you can determine if there is a consistent way of reproducing this problem that would greatly assist me in diagnosing the cause.
Sincerely
Ben Spencer
