Transaction when applying to an Asset

I have my Superannuation account set up in ASSET. When I go and try to add an interest received on the account it wants to do a double entry. One as decrease and the other an increase ?

    That doesn't seem to make much sense. What category are you using for these interest transactions? Can you provide a screenshot of these transactions? If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, please see http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

    Hi Ethan
    Amazing when you mention what 'category' it dawned on me where the error
    could be and sure enough it was under an expense, as soon as I changed that
    to an 'income' it fixed the problem.
