I think you will find your checking account listed in your investment register on those transactions. I've had that show up many times. it has something to do with the type of transfer involved. I just change the value to reflect the investment account and it resolves the issue.

mhoggietag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/493873882021-10-21T21:53:47Z2021-10-21T21:53:52ZWhen importing transactions into an investment account, it is affecting the balance in a checking account

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I’m not sure I follow. There are no checking accounts showing in the list of investment accounts. I’ve checked over and over for the correct account numbers etc. Am I missing something in your explanation?

Mike Ozborntag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/493873882021-10-21T22:04:52Z2021-10-21T22:04:52ZWhen importing transactions into an investment account, it is affecting the balance in a checking account

I'm a fellow user.

What I think may be suggested is that the transactions are being presented to Moneydance as things like DivXfr, BuyXfr, SelXfr. With such transactions, Moneydance has to source or deposit the funds in another account and if no account is specified in the import the first one is used.

dwg
