New computer, can't open Moneydance file
I got a new computer. I'm trying to open my moneydance file saved in Dropbox, but it keeps opening the container of the folder.
Its not seeing the .moneydance file as a valid file to import for some reason. Can you help?

You should not keep your Moneydance data file in Dropbox or any other network folder. It must be in a local folder to avoid corruption by the normal network synchronizing function.
What OS? What version of MD? (including build number)

Ok, I moved the data file out to a local folder, then tried again using the open 'Other' option, and was eventually able to open it after a few tries.
Good to know, I won't store it in Dropbox anymore.

Try running the Toolbox extension to look for issues with the dataset. MAKE BACKUP FIRST.
