<p>What is likely at play here is that the reconcile window is rendering off-screen.</p>
<p>There are a few different means of resolving this issue.</p>
<p>1) Many times this 'off-screen' issue is caused by connecting a second monitor and subsequently removing it. If applicable, try reconnecting the second monitor so as to access the orphaned window.</p>
<p>2) Call up the Graphs and Reports window.<br>
At this point, use key-combo ALT-SPACEBAR. (a small context menu may or may not appear at the edge of your monitor)<br>
Tap the letter 'M' on your keyboard so as to invoke the 'Move' command.<br>
Hold down the appropriate ARROW key on your keyboard (likely the LEFT ARROW key) to hopefully move the orphaned window back on-screen.</p>
<p>3) Install the Toolbox extension and reset Moneydance's windows to their default locations.</p>

Option 2 worked.<br>
I knew about Option 1, so reconnected the missing monitor but nothing was on that screen. I probably should have plugged the monitor into the other port – I had been running two monitors external to my notebook.</p>
