Hi Phil

First thing to check if you are working with foreign currencies in Moneydance correctly.
The attached PDF is my notes on handling foreign currencies based on running Moneydance 2022,

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494697752021-11-03T22:04:15Z2021-11-03T22:04:16ZCurrencies

Thank you for your reply. I believe my accounts in different currencies are set up correctly. Actually, I don't have any problem with my bank accounts, each one with its own currency, nor with the categories (each one in the relevant currency, say Plane Tickets in EUR, Plane Tickets in USD, etc): everything is fine, and consolidates nicely in is my base currency (CHF) as graphs or reports if I need it. My problem is only with Investments accounts. Say I buy 10 AMZN stocks in USD; I record this in my USD investment account, but immediately the USD/CHF parity becomes 1 (1 USD = 1 CHF). Same if I buy stocks in HKD, and record them in my HKD investment account: immediately the parity HKD/CHF becomes 1 ( 1HKD = 1 CHF). I think this should not happen, and I'm trying to find a solution.
