Deleted transactions keep returning when re open program

I imported a csv file from Barclays bank. I need to delete all those transactions but i delete them, they return, i delete the bank account and re create a new account, the transactions still return.

    Are you using sync?
    Can you post help/console?

    Hi Ian,
    Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

    Can you try to mark those transactions as "cleared" before deleting them?
    Highlight the relevant transactions in the register, click on the first transaction, hold down SHIFT, then click on the last transaction, this will select multiple transactions, at once.
    To highlight non-contiguous transactions, hold down CTRL.
    Once the desired transactions are highlighted, right-click on any of them and from the resulting context menu, select Mark as cleared. Finally, you should be able to delete them and they should not appear again.

    Hi Maddy - tried this suggestion

    Selected all > right click> mark as cleared > all dots went green > right click > Press delete >dialogue box opens warning about data loss and confirming to proceed > proceed to delete and all transactions disappear. YAAAAAy a clean white account with no entries in it.

    but then

    Exit program Re open program again from desktop item - go to the particular account
    and there it all is again!!!!!!

    it' all back.

    Are you using sync?
    Can you post help/console after you restart MD and the txns reappear?

    Anyway. Try this.
    - do the deletions. - Load and run toolbox extension. - hacker mode on - do the backup. - hacker menu - save trunk file. - restart MD. Did this work?
