1/ Exit MD and then rename the gordon_dates.moneydance file/folder to gordon.moneydance

Renamed the file and ran the toolbox ext but the bottom option was not available?

If you have selected advanced mode and the option remains greyed out then your base name is already correct and matches the file name (now that you have renamed it). Makes sense?

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494741212021-11-05T21:42:20Z2021-11-05T21:42:20ZMoneydance base name

Just to expand on what Stuart has said.

It has been noted that at times the base name is different from the file name. This seems to occur when you have been on certain older versions of Moneydance and upgrade from those, my suspicion that the way the base name was handled in the older file format that the files were converted from is a factor in this. I do not think I have seen it on data files created on the more recent versions of Moneydance.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494741212021-11-05T21:47:51Z2021-11-05T21:47:53ZMoneydance base name

I have used Moneydance since 2017 and recently upgraded to the 2021 version. Does this make a difference?

Are you sure you are in advanced mode? Can you send a screenshot of the whole screen, with the toolbox / account menu showing the greyed out option?

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494741212021-11-06T07:59:37Z2021-11-06T07:59:39ZMoneydance base name

Hi Stuart,

This is my screenshot.

As you can see, I am in advanced mode and have scrolled down the toolbox/account menu to show the various FIX options.
