Recently, I upgraded my Mac OS to 11.6. Afterward, when I opened my Moneydance file, all my monthly reconciliation amounts were incorrect. They had been changed. In addition, I had a couple of "recovered" entries, which also had been deleted from the data file. Could this file corruption have been caused by updating my operating system? Is there anything, short of entering 2 1/2 years of data again, that I can do to revert my file to where it was before updating my OS? Thank you for any help you can give me.</p></div>Christinetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494756912021-11-07T07:21:24Z2021-11-07T07:21:24Zperhaps a corrupted data file after updating my Mac<div><p>Do you have Moneydance auto backup turned on? If so, you could do file / restore from backup and restore a xxx.moneydancearchive file</p></div>Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494756912021-11-07T07:50:25Z2021-11-07T07:50:25Zperhaps a corrupted data file after updating my Mac<div><p>I'm a fellow user.</p>
<p>The first version of Moneydance qualified on Big Sur was 2021.1. I seem to recall various problems on older releases with Big Sur.</p></div>dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494756912021-11-07T07:59:35Z2021-11-07T07:59:35Zperhaps a corrupted data file after updating my Mac<div><p>Certainly, in the slightly earlier versions, the tabbing mode was a problem.</p></div>Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494756912021-11-07T20:46:21Z2021-11-07T20:46:21Zperhaps a corrupted data file after updating my Mac<div><p>I agree that restoring your most recent backup would probably be the easiest way to resolve this. Automatic backups are turned on by default, so unless you deactivated them at some point, you should have some options: <a href="https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/backups-and-exporting/backups">https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/backups-and-exporting/backups</a></p>
<p>Let me know if you have any trouble with that process.</p>
