Keep console open then try the import again... Any messages in console..?

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494760992021-11-07T19:26:07Z2021-11-07T19:26:07ZOpening downloads from Truist

QFX is just the the Quicken version of OFX. It means is has a Quicken specific section and other vendors can just ignore this.

Moneydance hence just treats this file like any other OFX file.

We will need to know what is happening and any error messages received.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494760992021-11-07T20:40:43Z2021-11-07T20:40:43ZOpening downloads from Truist

I am not getting an error message. The file downloads to my downloads folder but when I select “import” and choose the correct file from my downloads folder, nothing happens. Perhaps I have done something wrong in changing my BB&T account to Truist within Moneydance, but it still works to pay bills and open the Truist web site. It is definitely coming into my downloads folder as a qfx file.

hughesboxtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494760992021-11-07T20:56:21Z2021-11-07T20:56:21ZOpening downloads from Truist

I would open the QFX file in a text editor or word processor to see what is actually in the file to especially to see if it contains any transactions that should be loaded

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494760992021-11-07T21:38:49Z2021-11-07T21:38:49ZOpening downloads from Truist

A few things to check in addition to the previous comment:

Make sure the All button is selected at the top of your register. Some of the other options can filter out recent transactions from the active view.

Do you see a bar towards the bottom of your register that says something like '## Unconfirmed Transactions'? If so, you have the split register view active. You can either click and drag this bar up to reveal your unconfirmed transactions, or exit this view by clicking on the 'box' icon just to the right of the New Transaction button.

Yes, Ethan, the screen was split and all the downloads were below the bar. Many thanks! I can’t tell you how many hours I spent fiddling with this!
