"Unregistered" does not impact importing transactions so that is the not the particular problem here but a separate issue.

Unregistered mean your copy of Moneydance is not licensed, they are a number of possible reasons for this, these include:

You have not entered your license key into the program

You have upgrade your version of Moneydance past the point for which your license is valid for.

Something has happened to the file that the license key is store in.

The above reasons are the most common.

As far as your import problem, we need more information.

What process are you following?

What sort of file are you trying to import?

What error messages are you getting?

This would be a starting point and it likely to lead to more questions, initially it is a data gathering exercise so the more information provided the better. t the moment all we know is you are not getting any data imported, which means another basic question is if the file you are trying to import has any transactions data in it.

Telling us the name of bank my also help us determine what if any automatic transaction downloads are possible.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495310822021-12-06T23:08:20Z2021-12-06T23:08:24ZUploading transactions

Hello:

Thanks for the help.

The one site is the PNC Banking site. In that website, I click on
"Export", choose the Quicken File format. The file generates and I get a pop up screen in MD:

(All this is normal so far), I click on "OK" and typically they come into MD as unconfirmed transactions. I confirm them and I am good to go.

In this situation, everything above happens as usual EXCEPT I get no
transactions. This has happened more than once since I have been using MD.

I am having the same problem trying to get transactions out of Citibank
(Costco Visa).

I have several PNC accounts and a Discover Credit Card. I have never been
able to download transactions for any of my accounts except one of the PNC
and the Visa. The rest I have been entering manually. It would be great
to have all accounts working but for now, I would be happy to have the main
PNC and Visa working correctly.

I got a new laptop a few weeks ago - I am not sure if something is missing
on this new one that could cause this problem

Katherine Fricktag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495310822021-12-07T01:53:01Z2021-12-07T01:53:01ZUploading transactions

I would be downloading the file to computer then opening in notepad a word processor or similar and seeing what is in the file.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495310822021-12-07T08:21:35Z2021-12-07T08:21:35ZUploading transactions

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Katherine

Your screen shot indicates that you have not used the dropdown to select the destination account for the imported transactions or determined and you have not ticked the box if you want to remember your choice.

Hope this helps

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495310822021-12-07T22:32:15Z2021-12-07T22:32:15ZUploading transactions

I love it when things are simple. Thanks for your help!

Katherine Frick
