Hi,
Unfortunately, we're currently having some problems with our connection to Schwab Bank. We hope to have those problems resolved in the next day or so, at which point you'll hopefully be able to connect. I'll let you know when we've resolved the problems, so you can try to connect again.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi,
I've got an update for you: It's my understanding that Schwab is currently undergoing some kind of server upgrade and contract negotiation with the Quicken people and that right now OFX connections to Schwab Bank are unavailable. However, I know that they had been available in the past, and some users are reporting that they are able to connect still, so I'm not sure what's going on. It may be the case that customers who were already able to connect were not cut off during this negotiations, but anyone trying to update an old connection or establish a new one will be unable to connect. I don't know for sure though...this is all speculation based on conversations I've had with another Schwab customer.
Unfortunately, what that all means is that you won't be able to connect too Schwab Bank until they have completed their negotiations with Quicken. They had originally said that this would be done by the end of 2009, but not they're saying it'll be at least March at possibly longer. You could try calling Schwab and trying to get connected again through them, but I'm not sure you'll have much luck. Though it couldn't hurt to let them know that you're an annoyed customer who would like to be able to connect again sometime soon.
I'm sorry I don't have better news. If you do have success in getting reconnected after talking to them, please let me know how you did it so that I can advise other Schwab Bank customers.
