I have been using this software for some years and have recently bought a new iPad which I would like to use it on but when `I download the app I cannot get pass install DROPBOX !
I HAVE NO INTENTION IN USING DROPBOX SO HOW DO IGET PASS THIS ??

I NEED ANOTHER APP LIKE DROPBOX AS MUCH AS I NEED A CHOCOLATE FIRE GUARD `!

Hi Stephen
In Moneydance terms iPad is considered to be a mobile device and is not intended as a standalone version of Moneydance you have on your computer. It only allows viewing of bank and credit card type accounts and adding transactions on the go. It must be synced to your computers Moneydance using a free Dropbox account. without Dropbox you cant use Moneydance on a iPad. You must be running at least Moneydance 2017 but 2022 is a better bet.

Pray to the Chocolate Fire Guard Gods.... But that won't actually work... So you are stuck.. Dropbox - OR - no iOS App.
Now... There is iCloud Sync in the works.... So perhaps wait and see...

Hello,
The above comments are correct. The mobile apps only support syncing via Dropbox, which has been one of the few platforms that has provided consistent support to all operating systems over the past several years. We are working on adding an iCloud option for those who use only Apple devices, but I can't speculate on when that will be released.
