If you try installing the program without changing the file name, is the result the same?

Which specific version of Windows are you using? And I assume it's 64-bit?

I did try another install, this time without changing the name. It worked, whether or not that was my problem. I've previously changed the name of the executable file in order to keep track of the various versions, but I may not have done it until after the installation.

D.
