TD Canada Trust ->OFX connection
Hey guys. I just purchased the software with the assumption the "TD online banking" was TD canada trust. This might have been an error, maybe is there another bank called TD in the USA ??? I called to ask them what the login/pass was for OFX connection the unfortunate person with english as a second language had no clue what i was talking about. Can you confirm if this will work with my bank for online banking and import?
Thanks!

Hi, there is indeed an America bank called TD. They are based in Cherry Hill, NJ. Do you know if TD Canada trust is a branch of this other TD? If so, it may or may not work for you to connect to them it depends. If they are a separate bank then it is the case that we do not currently support them until they decided to implement an OFX server, which allows direct connection. You should, however, be able to download an OFX file from there website and manually import the data contained on there into Moneydance. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

No its a completely different bank. Toronto Dominion and Canada Trust merged a few years back creating TD Canada Trust.
I have figured out how to import though thanks! Is there a way for the program to remember duplicate entries? IE I get gas from Husky and its labelled as Personal->Fuel. Instead of having to label it that every single time its smart enough to see that next time?

Pete, I double checked and we do not currently support TD Canada Trust unfortunately.
Moneydance should learn to match your category labels to regular payments once you've done it once or twice.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with,
