I am running a trial version of Moneydance 2010r2 (740). When I set up online banking to download transactions from Commerce Bank - MO, KS, IL, I keep receiving the following message:

A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server. Error description: java.io.IOException: HTTP Error:400 Bad Request.

I have direct connect set up with my bank and I am able to download transactions into iBank with no problem. I would like to give Moneydance a try, but I am having difficulty getting started. Is there anything else that I can try to get this to work?

    Greg,
I am very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We have lots of new customers we are helping and have been very busy as a result.
I'm going to forward this to our connection specialist and you very helpfully provided us with almost all the information we need to know, but could you also tell me what version of Java you are running?
Thanks and sorry for the delay,
    Jon Hoover, Moneydance Support

I have a Windows PC at work that is running Java 6 Update 18 and a Mac at home that is running version 1.6.0_17. I can't get the download to work on either of them. By the way, I just updated to build 743 and I am still getting the same error message.

    Jon,

I have been able to get Moneydance working. I didn't realize that I needed to have the routing number entered to download the transactions. Once I entered that, it started working fine.
