I just bought a new laptop and want to install Moneydance to it. I have correctly entered the activation code, verified that it is correct, and entered it again. The system will not accept the code. I know there are no typos in what I am entering and are using the one you sent me. The computer is running Windows 11. Any suggestions?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

You don’t say what versions of MD you had on either your old or new computer, but I would imagine you have installed a newer version on your New Laptop.
Activation codes are version specific, so either you can download older versions here:-

Or at 50% discount get the latest version.
