Search results don't show account
i used the Find/Search function (magnifying glass icon) on the upper right side of the window to find a particular transaction. I get a list of transactions containing the searched word, but I can't tell from the list which account each transaction is from. I know that I can do an Advanced Search to get this information, but is there a way to do it without doing an Advanced Search? If not, it would be useful if, on the list generated by a search, you could double-click on a transaction and be taken to that transaction in that account's register. This can be done in Quicken 2005, which I am hoping MoneyDance will replace.

As far as I can see, Advanced Search doesn't show the account name either.
But thenew Search Report (added in build 738) does. Not as simple to use as the magnifying glass quick search, though, but the results are more useful.
Here's a sort of work-around for not being able to double-click on a search result line to see the account: right-click Show Other Side, then again right-click Show Other Side. (The first opens the category, the second opens the account. Well, most of the time anyway.)

Nancy,
Thanks for the very helpful suggestion. I've added it to our ticket tracking system, you can go and vote for it and we'll use vote rankings to determine priority of enhancements: http://www.moneydance.com/trac/ticket/2635
