display issues when confirming imported transactions
When I am in the process of confirming imported transactions, the screen display becomes corrupted. It happens whenever I need to edit the category. The right side of the screen becomes a mishmash of elements from other parts of the screen. Then I cannot get to the 'confirm' button. As I move my mouse around, this corrupted overlay will change to show various other parts of the screen. It's very frustrating. Windows 10 pc. Moneydance version 2022.2 (4060)

A month has gone by and I am faced with the same issue that I described previously. In the meantime I upgraded to version 2022.4 (4087) but the problem persists. I am surprised there have been no comments about this. Perhaps it has something to do with my PC, but any comments would be welcome.

Hi Harald,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
Please navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions and install the Toolbox.
Launch Toolbox and navigate to Toolbox Options (on top left corner) and select -
Update Mode->Yes->Do Back Up Now (recommended) Finally choose Menu: General Tools. Update Functions-> Reset Window Display Settings.
Finally restart Moneydance!

I followed your instructions but I am sad to say that the problem still occurs.
One thing I have discovered is when the display becomes corrupted I can bring it back by widening the window. Sometimes the problem will recur and then I widen the window again to get the display back - it's not perfect but it's a minor interruption and allows me to keep working.

What happens if you keep the main window smaller, so that there is space to the right for the (annoying) popup confirm/merge window to appear without overlapping the main window?
Have you tried Preview build 4087?

Can you find and post a copy of your config.dict file (with MD closed); Perhaps redact the license number first..

Thanks for your suggestions. The transaction confirm feature is part of the
main window. There are three columns to my main window: the accounts, the
transactions, and the confirm section. The confirm column only shows up
when I click on an unconfirmed transaction.
When the display corrupts it only affects the third column. I can't seem to
adjust the widths of each of these columns - only the whole window at once.
Attached is a copy of my config.dict file (with the licence key deleted).
Now I am running out of transactions to download for more testing!
Moneydance doesn't seem to re-download previously downloaded transactions.
So for further testing I might have to wait a few days for bank
transactions to accumulate...

There is an option in preferences for the confirm window to be a popup.
You can redownload by resetting the sync date.

Well, I've tried your config on Mac and Win10 and it's fine for me.. I can't say it's not a bug, but I do wonder if you have a local environment issue... Sorry, back over to support....

I can't seem to find where to change the sync date.
I will try the pop-up option.

With MD+, open Online, Setup MD+ , then on an account row, right hand side, click/right click in the empty space and a popup menu will appear...
Or if OFX, on an account, online menu, Setup online banking, reset sync date... Or use Toolbox if you want to set a more specific date rather than all dates...
