Moneydance display change

Suddenly Moneydance is displaying all total as "shares" rather than "dollars". For example, Bank Accounts each show the correct dollar amount, but at the bottom of that section the aggregate shows a number of shares rather than the total accumulated dollar value. The same is true for Credit Cards, Investment Accounts, Net Worth, etc. I first noticed this yesterday, but it might have begun earlier. Can you please help me correct this?

    What version of MD?

Check tools/currencies. Which one is ‘base’

Edit the base currency. What is set there?

It sounds like you have a security set as the base currency.

    BACKUP before any changes.

Also, can you post help/console here before you make any changes?

Stuart, thank you for the prompt and exactly correct reply. Yes, the base currency was set to a security. I don’t quite know how I managed to do that, but you pegged it. Again, thanks so much.
