I have numerous transaction reminders at up--deposits, transfers, payments--none are being entered into the transaction register. Every one shows up as a "late" transaction when I click on "summary." I have double-checked every entry from when I initiallyI set them up--account, date, frequency, amount. Am I missing something? Up until recently, the automatic transaction entry feature worked fine. Thank you.

    Hi Lee,

There is a setting in Preferences that you should check.

The setting is on the 'Network' tab. 'Auto-commit Reminders (applies to current file on this computer)'

It is my understanding that this setting will only appear if you are syncing your data with other computers. It is also my understanding that it is best to only apply this setting to the Primary data set. Applying it to Secondary data sets may create duplicate entries in certain circumstances. Again, this is my understanding of its workings.

Kevin, thanks for the advice. I had already checked that setting as you
suggest. Tried unsyncing my computers also, but to no avail.

    Hi Lee,

We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.

Which version and build of Moneydance are you using?
To check, open Moneydance and select Moneydance --> About Moneydance.

Usually when creating a Transaction Reminder selecting “Auto-Commit” will enter the transaction in the appropriate account register a set number of days before the transaction is scheduled.

If the Auto-Commit box is not checked when you create your Transaction Reminder, the transaction will not be applied to your register until/unless you manually apply the reminder, as outlined here

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions or need any assistance.

Reminders only auto-create when you launch MD.
Have you checked the auto commit box and also that the destination account is correct?
Can you send a screenshot of one of the reminders in the edit screen?
    Can you post help/console here?

Version 2022.3. I auto-commit one day before the transaction. Boxes
checked. Date noted. Everything seems to be in order.

Stuart. Not sure why but the second time I opened MD today, the late
transactions posted. So good for now.
