Addresses on Printed Checks have Hanging Indent

When printing checks with addresses, i noticed the first line of the address is slightly to the left of the rest of the lines in the address. Put another way, the 2nd and subsequent lines are indented slightly. I searched for similar problems, but only found http://help.infinitekind.com/discussions/problems/211-printing-litt... which may be related -- perhaps somewhere along the print stack the little squares are being converted to spaces on my system. Or, perhaps these are two entirely different problems.

I see this behavior with both the test page and real checks. I'm using 3 per page with stubs (aka personal size), since that's what i have from msm.

I'm using build 735 on mac os x 10.6.2. Only Java 2 printing seems to work -- if i try 1.1, i never get the os print dialog.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

    Keith,

I apologize for the long delay in our response, I am embarrassed to say that we have been snowed under with questions about Moneydance 2010. Are you still having this issue, and if so, would you please include the version of Moneydance you are using, your OS (if this information is different from that above), and the version of Java you are using?

    Thank you,

    Angie Rauscher

No worries, i realize this isn't high priority as it is cosmetic.

This problem is still happening, but i'd like recharacterize it as lines 2 thru n of the voucher address are indented.

I attached a pdf of the test checks (Prefs/CheckPrinting/PrintTestPage). For this print, Payee X = 20, Memo X = 20, Voucher Address X = 20. Note that the second line of the voucher address (Richmond, VA) is indented slightly from the first line of the address (801 E Main). If i print checks with multiple lines, the second and subsequent lines are indented slightly. Printing test checks for 'standard' checks shows the same voucher address indentation. This leads me to think there may be extra chars at the end of each line that impact the next line (perhaps incomplete/nonportable line ending cleanup).

I don't recall if this happened in md2008, since i switched to md shortly before md2010 came out and i don't print that many checks during that time of the year.
