Sir/Madam:

I purchased a new Mac and I am trying to restore my MoneyDance file.

I have been syncing to my phone via Dropbox and I have a recent backup file from my old computer.

How do I best restore my data?

Thanks!

Phil

    Derek,

One additional question for you about MoneyDance.

    MoneyDance is installed without problems.

Is there a way to restore the data from a recent backup?

Backups were being stored in "iCloud drive" so I have access to these
    backups.

Thank you so much for helping me with this issue.

    Hi Phil

To restore any Moneydance created backup use RESTORE FROM BACKUP under FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) and if the backup is not already navigate to your iCloud backup location.

    Hope this helps

    Derek,

    Thank you for that information.

I restored my data file from a backup, so I think that I only have a few
    transactions to be up-to-date.

    Have a fabulous weekend!

    Phil
