MacOS says latest update might be malware
Dear IK,
I updated to build 4 this morning. When trying to run my up-to-date Mac OS says the developer cannot be identified and might be Malware. I will put off until advised.
Cheers,
Russ

Hello Russ,
What was the exact text of this error? If it was the standard 'this is a program downloaded from the internet' sort of message that MacOS often gives, you should ignore it and proceed. (Assuming you trust our company and software.)

(I'm a user, not a IK person)
This is a typical message from Apple when installing downloaded software from a 3rd party site (not the app store site). It happens to *every.single.app" I download from a 3rd party.
You need to go to preferences-> Security & Privacy -> Allow downloads from Identified Developers. Click to open the padlock and you must often leave it open until the install is finished. I don't think that is true for this app.
