Hi Diane,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
To find your previous data file, open Moneydance and click on File > Open, you will see a list of all recently opened data files.
If you cannot find your data file there, then click on Help > Show Document Folder, this will open your default data file location, where all of the data files are located.
Another option is to click on Help > Show Archive Folder, this will open the default backup file location and you can choose to restore a backup.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

In addition, did you move your data files to the new PC following the steps in this article of the Knowledge Base?
Thank you

The Default File Location of Windows is:
C:\Users<username>.moneydance\Documents
If you have accidentally moved your data file to a different location. We would recommend moving it to the default location. This should resolve the problem for you.
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

Normally this indicated corruption. Do you have a backup you can restore to?
