Bug in Importing CSV into Account

I have done this importing twice with the same failure. Categories get created on the Income (Not expense), and values are Deposit (right side) (NOT Payment)
The situation is I create the CSV file and the accounts and categories already exists.
The fields are Date, Category, Description, Memo, Value (usually positive).
Again, Categories are created in the income section, which already exist, AND the values are treated as "Deposit" and NOT Payment.

    Hi agabhart36,

Your CSV only contains 2 transaction both with the same signage. I'm assuming these are 'Payment' transactions.

Can you provide a CSV with both Payment and Deposit transactions so that I can see how it is formatted?

With the CSV that you provided, is the attached screenshot what you are looking to accomplish?

Yes. The image is what should happen.
So, by adding in thee last entry it doesn't even go to CashExpense (which Exists) but Misc, The signs are still consiatent.
The first entry went to Misc (Income), second to the actual Expense, and third to the existing Misc expense.

    Hi agabhart36,

The attached screenshot is what I get when importing your second CSV.

    I'm using the following settings:
    Import To: desired account
    Field Delimiter: [ , ]
    Date Format: Month Day Year
    Decimal Point: .
    I'm using the following Fields:
    Debit Amount

Make sure to use the Fewer Fields button so that you have ONLY the 5 fields needed.

Thank you. Making it Debit Amount worked. It imported everything correctly, including the Credit side.
It is very weird how this all of a sudden happened but I now have a solution.
