Confirmation window constant
The option is under Moneydance->Preferences->General... and is called "Show confirmation in separate window"
I cannot find this in my Moneydance?
Ver. 2022.4 (4087) on Win 10

I'm a fellow user.
I think that is an old reference. Look at the option "Show Selection Details" and select it to "In Separate Popup" and see if it does what you want.

In 2022.4(4087) check if the dropdown selection “Show Section Details: In separate popup/In main window” under FILE - PREFERENCES – GENERAL is what you are looking for.

In older versions/builds of Moneydance this looked different but in the latest 2022.4(4087) this is how it looks.

Many thanks again for your help.
I have found it now. Don’t understand how I missed it before.
That is better - I can reduce the window size of the app and allow the pop
up to appear beside it on the RH. This saves the disconcerting jumping
about that I was seeing.
