I have lost all transaction data from 8/15/2016 to present. Can you help me recover the data?

    I'm a fellow user.

The most likely reason you are seeing this I think is that a backup file has been opened rather than the current live file, a backup will typically have a name the same as the live data but with an appended number to indicate when it was initially created,

Try using the File --> Open command to see any other files listed that may be your current data.

If you can not see any then you can search your system for folders with the .moneydance extension and files with the extension .moneydancearchive.

Thank you, I was able to find the current file using the File Open command.
