What happened to the comments?

I’ve been coming here for at least 10 yrs although not all that often and reading select comments to PUBLIC posts. Now when I log on I see only the original post but no comments, yet the index indicates there are many comments.

Is it me (I’m traveling and using various wifi connections) or what changed at this site? What do I have to do to see the comments to posts?

   I'm not seeing any such problems and I have not seen anyone else report any problems.

   Yep, I can see it all with LTE, so it must be the ISP wifi is blocking something. Can’t handle reading with the tiny screen on this fone so guess I’ll have to come back here after I move on to a different location.

   In the "FWIW" department: Haven't had any trouble reading comments here, but HAVE on a handful of other sites. The culprit appears to be my VPN, as defeating it always reveals the comments - even though having it ON does not always disable them.

   (Always connect via VPN when away from home, and as OP mentioned "traveling" wondered if they were also running one.)

   Dierkdk, no I’m not using a vpn although I am aware that it would improve my security. I avoid accessing financial sites in hopes of avoiding unpleasant surprises. The problem with comments is definitely related to the ISP providing wifi at my location. Moving today and I’ll check again at my next site.
