Reminders are not AutoCommitting...
I have several reminders set up to AutoCommit a specified time in advance. They used to work but are no longer working for a few months now. I upgraded to the latest version 2 days ago in hopes they would one again start working but they are not. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Example attached shows my home loan is due on the 1st and should have committed yesterday but it hasn't. Others in the screenshot showing in blue (committed) were manually committed.

Hi Bryan,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Can you navigate File->Preferences->Network? Is the Auto-commit Reminders (applies to the current file on this computer) option checked?
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

Thank you for the quick response. That fixed the issue. Not sure when/how that was changed but I am good to go. I have two computers with MoneyDance installed. Is it ok to have that checked on both of them?

We recommend enabling this option only on the computer which is the most used and most often connected to the Internet.

Hi Maddy, or anyone else in moneydance support, I have the same issue that started about a month ago, auto-commit on reminders has just stopped working. I have around 30 reminders set to auto-commit 30 days in advance.
I tried to follow your guidance above but my preferences screen does not have the option you referred to.
I am using moneydance version 2022.5(4091)

Do you use MD sync? If so, is this a primary or secondary machine?
Have you restored recently?
Can you send a screen of the edit screen of one of the reminders?

Thanks for rapid response
Do not use moneydance sync. The auto-commit function was working perfectly
up until about 4 weeks ago - then it has just stopped. I have manually
committed up until last week, but all my reminders have 30 day auto-commit
set
Not restored
Changed nothing my end - has moneydance done any updates recently

Interesting that the last date is set to 5/11/22 even though it’s not ticked.
Can you try ticking the last date and setting the date to 31/12/2030 and then untick and save. Then restart MD. What happens; did it appear?
If not, grab help/console and upload that here.
Also, load extension view future reminders. How does that look?

Are you saying that when you changed the last date that all the entries then auto-commited? Did u have to edit one or all?

Just one ! does the last date get recorded from a central register it was
like opening a floodgate

Stuart,
I was trying to use email as I did not want to share the detail from my accounts on the forum – could you please delete the entries you have posted sharing my financial details.
As I responded before – I only edited one item and all outstanding items released

Make sure the Auto-commit Reminders is checked under Preferences/Network tab. This was my issue. Not really sure who/why it became unchecked.

Thanks for your help Bryan, unfortunately as shown above I have different options than on your screen.
Which version are you using.
I am using moneydance version 2022.5(4091) (windows)

The Auto-commit reminders preference on the network tab is only present if you are syncing, it addresses a specific issue that can occur when syncing, it has no relevance with a standalone system.
