Installation problem
I just bought and downloaded Moneydance 10 for my Mac today but can't seem to move it into my application folder. There is an icon in my dock but it won't open the application when double-clicked. The only way I can get the program to work is by going into my documents and double-clicking on the last Moneydance file I worked on. This is a pain. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Did you happen to have a prior installation of Moneydance, like Moneydance 2008? This could explain the problem and I can tell you more about next steps, if thats not the case then there are other possible solutions we could try.

Thanks, Jon, but I figured it out myself and everything works well.

Ok, the program was working fine for a little while. Now it doesn't work
again. The program is still in my application folder and the icon is in my
dock. When I double click on the icon or even try to open it from the
application file nothing happens. I'm getting very frustrated with this
program and am starting to lose confidence in it. Any suggestions?

No, I just bought two licenses for Moneydance about one week ago. While two
days ago nothing happened when I clicked on the icon (the program wouldn't
open) yesterday it mysteriously worked fine. I don't know what the problem
was. There were no additions to software or hardware.

Hi,
So let's try this out: Go to your doc and drag the moneydance icon off of the dock onto the desktop, it should disappear. Now from your Applications folder drag the Moneydance application onto your Dock. Open it up, does it open? Quit the program and try and open it again from the dock, does it still work? If not please let me know and we can try some other things.
Hope this works,
