I'm using windows 11 on a PC which replaced my old one. I opened MD on the new computer and, somehow, managed to find all my accounts I had on the old PC. I downloaded some of the accounts to update and then closed MD. I've done some file moving since then between the C: drive, and the D: drive, and set up OneDrive on the D: drive. Since then, I have been unable to open MD with my accounts.
I need help to get them back !

    Hi Frank

It sound like you have moved your Data Set out of its default location which can be found in Moneydance by clicking HELP – SHOW DOCUMENT FOLDER. Not a good idea as you have found.

To open a data set you have moved to a non-default location if Moneydance opens in an empty Data Set try FILE – OPEN – OPEN OTHER then navigate to the location you have moved the data set to. If Moneydance opens in the Welcome Window click CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT SET and set up a Dummy Data Set then FILE – OPEN – OPEN OTHER. If you are not sure where your Data Set is now located install TOOLBOX from under EXTENSIONS – MANAGE EXTENSION and run this and select FIND MY DATA SETS AND BACKUPS.

Once you open a Data Set in a non-default location Moneydance should remember that location. A data Set should always be located on your hard drive not in a cloud drive.

    Hope this helps.
