Hi mawigmore

Running 2022.5(4091) it works for me, see screen shot.
Try clicking RESET then set upthe parameters again – OK.
I assume you have used a extension such as Quote Loader to update the exchange rate under TOOLS – CURRENCIES – US DOLLAR?

Hope this help.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/559217822022-09-30T13:28:27Z2022-09-30T13:28:27ZCurrency Graph broken

I have the same version and I've just tried it again having clicked Reset.
Still nothing.

It works the other way around, though.

Hi mawigmore

Moneydance expresses the exchange rate as one Foreign Currency equals X Base Currency. In our case one US Dollars equals X British pounds. We normally think of the reciprocal value one British Pound equals X US Dollars.
Moneydance has always done it this way round, not sure why.

Hope this help.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/559217822022-09-30T13:56:22Z2022-09-30T13:56:22ZCurrency Graph broken

The edit dialogue allows you to specify both the range and domain. If one
is always the "base currency" why is this not a fixed field in the dialogue
box?

Hi mawigmore

Your right, I don’t know why you cant set the Currency History: to British Pound (in our case Base Currency) Relative to: Foreign currency (in our case US Dollar). One for Support or the Moneydance developer Sean.

I'm sorry, it should be possible to select any currency for both the range or domain of that graph. I see that it works in the other direction, but graphing the base currency relative to your preferred currency should also work but doesn't. This is a bug that I've just finished fixing for the next update. Thank you for the report!

Best,
Sean
